Abstract
Artikel ini memberikan infomasi berkaitan maping kitab-kitab bahari di Paser Kalimantan Timur, berfokus
pada kitab-kitab bahari atau naskah klasikyang masih tersimpan di masyarakat. Pemetaan ini dilalukan
berdasarkan data-data inventarisasi yang telah diperoleh di lapangan sebanyak 31 naskah. Kitab bahari
yang telah diinvetarisir ditulis mulai abad XVII sampai abad XX berdasarkan kolofon bahan alas yang
digunakan. Kondisi fisik ke-63 naskah yang telah ditemukan, diperkirakan sekitar 85% dalam keadaan
baik, utuh, dan masih bisa terbaca, selebihnya sekitar 15% rusakyang dipengaruhi oleh faktor usia, iklim
tropis, zat kimiayang berasal dari tinta, seragga, debu, dan lain sebagainya.
