Al-Qalam Journal allows the use of Generative AI (GenAI) as an aid as long as the author remains fully responsible for the content of the manuscript. GenAI may only be used to assist with language development, paraphrasing, improving the structure of the text, or developing initial ideas. It may not be used to create the entire article, generate research data, references, citations, or scientific figures or tables. All information, analysis, and arguments in the article must be verified and are the responsibility of the human authors. Any use of GenAI must be clearly disclosed in the Acknowledgments or Author Notes section. GenAI cannot be listed as an author. Editors and reviewers may also not use GenAI to assess or make editorial decisions. Violation of this policy may result in rejection or retraction of the article. Al-Qalam Journal may update this policy in accordance with technological developments and ethical standards of publication.
