Al-Qalam journal accredited SINTA 2 

We invite researchers, academics, and religious observers to submit research articles on Religious Life, Religious Education, as well as Literature and Religious Heritages.

Manuscript Provisions: 

The manuscript is written in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Required to use Mendeley's Reference Tools. 
All incoming manuscripts will be tested for plagiarism. Plagiarism with similarity level above 20% will not be processed further.

Al-Qalam is a scientific journal published in 2 editions per year since 1990 by Balai Penelitian dan Pengembangan Agama Makassar, which used to be called the Balai Penelitian Lektur Keagamaan Ujung Pandang. Al-Qalam is a scientific journal that publishes a focus on studies related to religious and socio-cultural research. The journal's scope includes Guidance for Religious Communities and Religious Services, Religious Education as well as Religious Matters, Contemporary religious script, socio-religious history, religious archeology, Archipelago Religious Arts and Culture. This is an Open-Access Journal, meaning all content is freely available without charge to users or/institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full-text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. Please read the guidelines carefully. Authors who wish to submit articles must obey the writing guidelines. If the submitted article does not comply with the guidelines or is written in a different format, it will be REJECTED by the editor before further review. The editors only accept articles that meet the specified format. Al-Qalam also uses the Plagiarism tool, turnitin, in order to check the submitted articles. Plagiarism with similarity level above 20% will not be processed further. The article must be written in Bahasa Indonesia, English or Arabic. Al-Qalam uses the blind peer review procedure where the reviewer and author do not know each other. Al-Qalam published twice a year, June and November.
