Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana peran Kementerian Agama Kota Jayapura
dalam melakukan pelayanan terhadap penganut agama minoritas, salah satu diantaranya adalah
penganut agama Buddha. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tehnik Penjaringan
data menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
Kementerian Agama Kota Jayapura melakukan pelayanan terhadap penganut agama Buddha dalam
bentuk bantuan pembangunan dan renovasi rumah ibadah; pelaksanaan pendidikan; dan penyiaran
agama.
