Abstract
Artikel ini mengnngkap mengnai kondisi pernaskahan di Provinsi Maluku, khususnya naskah klasik
yang tersimpan oleh masyarakat Maluku yang dipetakan berdasarkan data-data inventarisasi yang
telah diperoleh di lapangan. Naskah Klasik yang telah diinventarisir pada umumnya ditulis kira-kira
pada abad ke-17-20 berdasarkan klofon dan bahan alas yang digunakan. Kondisi fisik ke-63 naskah
yang telah ditemukan, diperkirakan sekitar 80% dalam keadaan baik, utuh, dan masih bisa terbaca.
Selebihnya sekitar 20% dalam kondisi memprihatinkan disebabkan usia dan tidak terpelihara dengan
baik seperti yang tersimpan dalam bambu dengan waktu yang cukup lama mengalami rusak dan hancur.
Adapun isi teks naskah terdiri atas khutbah Jumat, Hari Ray a Idul Fitri, khutbah Hari Ray a Idul Adha,
khutbah nikah, dan khutbah maulid. Selain itu, naskah berisi tarekat, doa, akidah, fikhi, manasik haji,
penanggalan, hadis, dan Alquran.
