Penelitian ini membahas hasil sastra lisan dalam siklus pemeliharaan anak sebagai media pendidikan
pada komunitas Bugis di Kabupaten Wajo. Makalah ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan
pendekatan semiotika menggunakan analisis isi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi dengan
pengumpulan data menggunakanpola penentuan informan teknik bola salju. sastra lisan dalam masyarakat
yang memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan, serta sarat akan nilai-nilai pendidikan. Tradisi lisan di
masyarakat perlu dipertahankan sebagai wujud nyata manifestasi dari pelestarian budaya bangsa.
